Beginning on Friday, June 12th, Grab and Go Fresh Produce and Milk will be available for pickup at our East York Emergency Food Hub every Wednesday and Friday. With these distributions, we hope to reduce food waste and help families that may be struggling to get enough healthy, fresh food. Going forward, assorted produce and milk will be available for pick-up every Wednesday and Friday through the month of June
As part of the USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) the York County Food Bank is receiving ample amounts of produce and dairy from farmers to help those in need. “We want the community to know we have food and we are here to help,” said President & CEO Jennifer Brillhart.
If you or anyone you know is experiencing hunger, has been impacted by unemployment, reduced wages, lack of childcare, or any other reason you may not be able to afford to eat, please visit one of our food distributions or call 2-1-1 to find your local food pantry.
